HAPPY EMPTY NESTERS

This beautiful, three-story, 3,500 square foot home is owned by a couple, after raising their children, realized they would be happy “empty nesters”. After laboring through years of college bills and weddings, they worked with us on a complete energy retrofit, which included sidewall insulation, attic and knee wall insulation, window glazing, a complete air sealing package, crawl space insulation and proper ventilation.

RESULTS

We reduced the air leakage in the home by over 60%, and dramatically improved the comfort and efficient of the entire home. Drafts and cold spaces, which were accepted as the norm for many years, a thing of the past! Utility bills dropped by over 50%.
